the Village
Maureillas-Las-Illas is a small Catalan village in the Languedoc-Rousillon region in the South of France.
It is located south of Perpignan, approximately 20 minutes from the coast and 10 minutes from the Spanish border. Maureillas is easily accessible from both Perpignan airport in France and Gerona in Spain.
The village has all the amenities for daily needs including boulangeries, alimentation (food shops), a lovely little wine shop, post office, newsagent, schools, doctor surgeries, pharmacy, hairdresser, a small bar, Pizza place, a restaurant and a small farmers' market on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
